Eww! There's like all sorts of germs and bleah on your fingers from touching things like doors and shopping carts and stuff :p

I need to bring along my own wet sponge, but I can't really tuck that into my pockets. People might get the wrong idea when they see the wet spot on my pants, lol

im a cashier, i have a bitch of a time sometimes too.
especially with the smaller bags cause theyre damn near impossible to open, the trick to getting bags open is if the cashier hits them on something before placing em on the rack, then they all dont stick together, and theyre easier to open.

Glad the frustration is on both sides, shopper and cashier!
Now that I know the secret how to work them, I'll find out if any of them know it!
Then again, they charge you 5 cents a bag, so they probably don't even care.

lol at my work we dont even charge for bags, and if you bring your own, we take off 2 cents cause we're nice.

the only time we charge for bags is if people want extras for god knows what reason. its those times that i glare at them all "wtf is your motive with our bags and they arent for sale anyways"

i hate my customers for the most part, you realize how dickheaded people are when you work in a grocery store. i've actually had a guy say to one of the cashiers not to speak to him because shes just a cashier and has no right cause shes lower class...so i fucken yelled at him cause i wuz incharge of the store and told him not to speak to my cashiers that way if he wants to continue shopping here, course he didnt say anything to me, but still.

That is one extremely rude customer! If that was said to me, I would have snapped back with my own insult, complete with profanity.
I just can't believe someone could say such a thing to someone else.

That's because they love to watch you look like a dork hehe, just teasing. I hate the ones they have for the fruit/vegatables. Those are just plain wrong lol. It takes me two tries usually, but then there some who would just call me blond, but I blame it on my lack of nails. I bite them at home...bad habbit hehe. My comments to you are way too long huh? Being quiet now :)

those fruit bags bug me too, but that plastic is made differently than the shopping bags, so I can handle those ones, lol
